The Borderlands 2 save file editor is one of the most useful programs in the game. It allows you to create new save files without having to have any previous understanding of scripting. - (Optional) .NET Framework 4 is necessary to run Gibbed’s Save Editor. You need to install this if your PC doesn’t already has this.
- Open Gibbed’s
- Click “Open”. PC should be the platform selected by default.
- Navigate to your save folder. Gibbed’s should already be here by default.

The first tab has all of the values for your experience points, money, and secrets located together. Simply copy these contents into the appropriate spots on the left pane. The second tab has the inventory system for your character located on the right side of the screen. Simply drag and drop the items onto the inventory grid to place them in your inventory. Using the “use” button at the bottom of the screen will allow you to replace any items that are removed.
Many of the features of the Borderlands 2 save editor are the same as those found in the original online. The only difference is that the editor now includes support for the newest loot and items included with the game. This means that you won’t have to resort to cheats or hacks anymore to level up, earn experience points, or buy the best upgrades for your gun.
Fortunately, this save editor doesn’t require any knowledge of the source code to use. Gear Quest itself is not 100% compatible with the Borderlands 2 save editor, but many people find that it is reliable in its current form.
If you really want to get the most out of the program, then you should make sure you have a working version of the adobe flash player installed on your computer. Since the game utilizes the flash plugin, it requires adobe flash to be able to read the data that is included within the save files. Fortunately, you won’t need anything else to play the game if you already have the flash player installed on your machine. Simply install the program and then load up the Borderlands 2 save files on your flash drive. Plug in your USB flash drive and let the game load up before playing.
